Updates – end of 2011

Hey Dodgeballers, just some points for the preparation for the end of the year.

* There are only three? nights left this quarter. Other than that, there's the Midwest Dodgeball Cup that's the only thing coming up. June 18.

* There won't be dodgeball on Monday as the Ray Meyer is closed for Memorial Day. Instead, meet up in the Quad for some outside action.

- DePaul Dodgeball Advisor:
We need an advisor by the end of the year. This is different than our "liason" Lisa for some reason. It can be any faculty at DePaul, my personal opinion would be to get someone that would come and play once and a while. As playing is fun. But in any case we need one for I'll settle for anyone that's willing to put up with us. IF you have anyone, you should probably just take the initiative & ask them.

# New Constitution
I'm writing up an updated Constitution, as the last one was written by Magoo and Co. While still legitimate, the "Fresh Grille" is three names back so... We'll put a vote to the new soon.

% Join the FB group if you haven't, if you like that kind of thing. For those guests and alumni, we also use the group to set up events and guest nights, so jump in as you please.

Ok, what the else...

I wrote a fundraiser letter as per 'popular' request... only problem is that it's typewritten so I have to digitize the thing. When I can get around to it.

We Know Your Excuses: A post on all the excuses and consequential rebuttals I've, and the rest of us promoters have heard over the years.

Other things coming up on the site:
- Club Administration stuff: a graphic style guideline, just because I can. Some media uploads to the gallery. Updates to the Rules. Update the Budget. Write up a club manager guideline, showing what I've done this year and advice for the next. But it's only advice. The Club is ingrained as such a tradition, that it can't be stopped no matter what any particular soul. No individual body can really screw it over for any great duration.
